Our "Loving Literacy Tour" was launched October 10, 2012. Spearheaded by our celebrity Mentor, Ellia English; (best known for her roles as Mary Lou Wentz, on "Good Luck Charlie," and Aunt Helen King, on "The Jamie Foxx Show").
Our first stop was Scholars Academy and Mount Zion Primary Schools in Clayton Georgia.

Ms. English was awarded the opportunity to cancel the event; however, because of her fervent adoration and appreciation of children, she refused to miss her appointment the young students at Scholars Academy and Mount Zion Primary.
It was during this invigorating and precious occasion, as we witnessed the excitement and the reactions of the students (demonstrating their hunger and desire for such an event as this), that S.T.R.I.V.E. was born through it's founders Dr. Katrina English, Niccole Wesley, and Ellia English.
